New Renault Duster Sandstorm edition launched

Renault

on Tuesday announced the launch of the

new Duster

Sandstorm edition with some cosmetic updates and additional

features

. Available in both the 85PS and 110PS versions, the RXS trim-based edition has been priced at Rs 10.9 lakh and Rs 11.7 lakh ( both ex-showroom, Delhi).

The exterior of the Renault Duster

Sandstorm

receives striking graphics along with 'Sandstorm' decals on the hood, doors, tailgate and ORVMs, and a matt black front armor with additional lamps. Moreover, it also gets all-new ZODIAC 16-inch machined alloys and body colored outside door handle finish accentuate. The edition is available in three colour options - bronze, silver and slate grey.

The interiors feature a black and grey upholstery, centre fascia with dark chrome finish, shiny black door trim strip and grab handle, and door handle finish in black. It is also equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen and dual airbags and the car gets ‘Sandstorm’ branding inside as well.

Propelling the Duster Sandstorm edition is the same K9K 1.5-litre dCi (Common Rail Direct Injection) engine that powers the standard variants as well. The carmaker offers a six-speed manual transmission with the 110PS trim while a five-speed manual with the 85PS version. Both the options are available in two-wheel drive mode and claim to deliver a fuel efficiency of 20kmpl.

Bookings for the New Duster Sandstorm are open at the dealerships or one can book it through the Renault Duster App -- available at Playstore -- as well.
