NEW DELHI: Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) India on Thursday announced the launch of a new range-topping '
Limited Plus
' variant of its
Jeep Compass. The new variant comes with three powertrain options, priced between Rs 21.07 lakh and Rs 22.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Bookings for the new variant are open and deliveries will start from the first week of October.
The newly-launched variant of the sports utility vehicle (SUV) gets eight premium features along with all the standard features of its Limited trim.
Panoramic dual-pane sunroof and 8.4-inch infotainment screen are among the key features of the
Jeep Compass Limited
Plus. It also gets eight-way power adjustable seat for driver with memory function and 4-way power lumbar support. The variant comes with selective intensity automatic headlamps. Six airbags, rain-sensing wipers, electrochromic auto-dimming internal rearview mirror and 18-inch dual-tone polished-aluminum alloy wheels are among the other new features of the top-spec variant.
There is no other change in the model and it gets the same 173PS, 2.0-litre diesel and 173PS, 1.4-litre petrol engine options. The petrol version comes with a seven-speed automatic transmission while the diesel version gets a six-speed manual gearbox and is also available with a 4x4 drive.

The made-in-India Jeep Compass comes at a starting price of Rs 15.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
