NEW DELHI: Mustang, the inconic sports coupe from Ford, will be officially launched in India on Tuesday. The top-of-the-line variant of this car will be powered by the V8 engine and cost Rs 65 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.

Ford had showcased the car at the Auto Expo at Greater Noida in February this year and now plans to sell it from select company showrooms in Delhi and Mumbai.

The Mustang features a 5-litre V8 engine and delivers 401PS of power.

Since the car first went on sale in 1964, Ford has sold more than 9 million vehicles.
