PUNE: Mercedes-Benz India
on Tuesday introduced 'Edition C' of its
C-Class
portfolio. Starting at Rs 42.54 lakh (ex-showroom), the special edition brings a host of new exterior and interior upgrades, enhancing the sportiness of the premium sedan.

India, said that in today’s dynamic market, constant upgrade of our products is essential for effective lifecycle management, and it remains key to our product strategy.
"The C-Class had been a spectacular success story in the Indian market and has sold over 27,500 units since its debut in India. We are confident that the ‘Edition C’ will retain its top billing and discerning customers will find a lot of value in the product,” he added.
The special edition model is available in three trim options across the country
Bringing in a new colour option – the designo Hyacinth red – the C-Class ‘Edition C’ receives front lip spoiler and the rear spoiler painted in black. Other additional exterior
features
besides the standard ones include lighter black alloys, LED logo projectors for front doors and an ‘Edition C’ badge. The front twin louvres, mirror housings, beltline and side skirts have also been painted black to provide a more dynamic feel to the design.
The interior also receives some updates like open-pore black ash wood trim finish, sports pedals in stainless steel with embossed rubber studs and Garmin Map Pilot SD card navigation system.
The new edition is available in three trim options - the C 200 Avantgarde Edition C for Rs 42.54 lakh, C 220 d Avantgarde for Rs 43.54 lakh and the C 250 d Avantgarde Edition C for Rs 46.87 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
