NEW DELHI: To attract customers in the upcoming festive season, India's leading carmaker
Maruti Suzuki has introduced a
limited edition
of its
Wagon R with some extra features.
The version comes packed with an interior styling kit, two-din music system with Bluetooth connectivity and reverse parking sensors. It also gets body graphics, a rear spoiler, premium seat covers and cushion set as the part of the limited edition package.
The package costs Rs 25,490 for the LXi variants while Rs 15,490 for the VXi variants as they already come equipped with the double-din music system. The price of the model starts at Rs 4.15 lakh, for the LXi variant, and goes up to Rs 5.39 lakh for the VXi(O) AGS variant with metallic colour.

Wagon R is amongst India's top 5 selling cars. The company has sold around 21.9 lakh units of this model since its launch in 1999.
About 24 per cent of WagonR customers have bought the car more than once, the company said in a statement.
Besides the additional package, there is no other change in the Limited Edition version and it continues to get all the features and specifications from the respective standard variants.
The Wagon R comes with a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, petrol engine that delivers 68PS of power and 90Nm of torque. The motor comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission and the company also offers an AGS (Auto Gear Shift) option in the VXi variants. The LXi variants also come in CNG fuel option.
Maruti claims that the Wagon R delivers a fuel efficiency of 20.51kmpl in petrol and 26.6km/kg in CNG variants.
