Mahindra Scorpio 2017 Adventure edition launched

Mahindra and Mahindra

has launched the 2017 edition of Scorpio Adventure edition at a staring price of Rs 13.10 lakh*. The 4x4 version has been priced at Rs 14.20 lakh*.

The new Adventure edition of Scorpio is offered with alloys finished in gun-metal hues.

Special body decals and turn signals on side mirrors have also been incorporated.

On the inside, the car gets reverse camera with display on the six-inch infotainment system, and faux-leather upholstery with blue fabric insets.

The same 120hp 2.2-litre mHawk engine has been carried over to the special edition as well and it is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.

Despite being a seven-seater, Scorpio has been facing stiff competition from smaller SUVs like

Hyundai Creta

and

Renault

Duster. Sub-compact SUV Vitrara Brezza too has managed to create waves in the thinly-separated segment. With more compact SUVs like Hyundai Kona and Toyota C-HR possibly touching Indian shores, the road ahead will remain a challenge for M&M which also offers the XUV 500 and TUV 300.
