NEW DELHI: Commemorating the 25,000-unit sales milestone of the made-in-India Jeep Compass SUV, FCA (

) India has introduced a limited edition Jeep Compass 'Bedrock,' priced at Rs 17.53 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The special edition will be available in the Sport trim, in three colours - white, grey and red. It comes with the 2.0-litre, 173PS turbo-diesel engine, mated to the six-speed manual transmission, in 4x2 drive configuration.

Additional features of the

Jeep Compass Bedrock

over the standard Sport trim include reverse parking camera, 16-inch glossy-black alloy wheels, side step for entrance, Bedrock-branded seat covers, black roof rails, premium floor mats, Bedrock decals and monogram.



Launched in July 2017, the Jeep Compass is manufactured in FCA's Ranjangaon facility, near Pune, which is one of the company's four global manufacturing and export hubs. The first year of the production celebrated on June 1 and the company has already exported over 8,000 units f the SUV to seven automobile markets.

"We are proud of what we have achieved with the Jeep Compass in less than one year of it being in the market. With the Jeep Compass, FCA India has secured its best sales within a 12-month period, in the last 10 years. We are celebrating our 25,000 sales milestone with Indian customers by giving them the Jeep Compass Bedrock Limited Edition," Kevin Flynn, President and Managing Director, FCA India, said.



"The FCA team has been working tirelessly to strengthen that faith by providing them with a top-notch after-sales service experience, which is backed by our 'Mopar' promise," Flynn added.

Currently, FCA India has 65 sales and service outlets across India and it aims to increase the count to 70 this calendar year.
