's luxury vehicle division,
Lexus
, on Monday announced the launch of the 2019 model of its
ES 300h
hybrid
electric car at Rs 59.13 lakh (ex-showroom).
This is the seventh-generation of the model with the Japanese automaker's fourth-generation hybrid system. The system comes coupled to a 2.5-litre petrol engine and the combination has been claimed to deliver a fuel efficiency of 22.37kmpl.
The new model follows signature Lexus design language with a large front grille and sharp LED headlamps. Inside, the car features a luxurious cabin with comfortable space.
Lexus said that the new ES 300h has enhanced riding comfort and driving dynamics. It is also equipped with safety features like 10 airbags, hill start assist and vehicle stability control.
The company started its Indian operation in March 2017 and now it has a presence in eight cities of the country, offering six different models, including four hybrid vehicles.
