NEW DELHI: Hyundai launched the 3rd generation of the popular hatchback
Grand i10 Nios
, starting at Rs 4.99 lakh and ranges to Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-of-the-line variant. The all-new car will be available in four major trims - Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta.
The all-new Grand i10 Nios is available in 1.2 L BS-6 complaint petrol engine and 1.2 L diesel with manual and automatic transmission options.

The 1.2-L petrol engine generates 83 PS power at 6,000 rpm and 113.75 Nm peak torque at 4,000 rpm. The manual and automatic transmission units deliver a claimed mileage of 20.7 kmpl and 20.5 kmpl, respectively.
The 1.2-L diesel engine offers 75 PS power at 4,000 rpm and 190.25 Nm peak torque at 1,750-2,250 rpm. Both transmission units have a claimed mileage of 26.2 kmpl.
The Grand i10 Nios be available alongside the Grand i10 and would lie below the Grand i20 in the portfolio.
The Grand i10 Nios conveys modern design and versatile compact package due to a sculpted front, flanked by boomerang shaped LED, chrome surrounded projector foglamps, aerodynamic side profiling. The integrated roof rails, shark fin antenna with sporty skid plate enhances the dynamic appeal of the rear.
The Grand i10 Nios is available in eight colour options, including two dual-tone shades.
The interior feels premium with 20.25 cm touch screen infotainment system in the middle, 13.46 cm digital speedometer and Akramys sound system. Driver also has the facility of wireless charging, leather-wrapped steering, tilt steering, electrically-adjustable seat and outside mirrors.
Bookings commenced for a token of Rs 11,000 and the first unit was rolled out of the Chennai plant last week.
