We are certain that the reception to this glorious superbike will be as overwhelming as that for our previous models.”Made available in three colour options – White Rosso, Red Nero and Silver Verde – the Benelli 302R will be sold through all the DSK Benelli dealerships across India.
Powering the bike is an inline two-cylinder, four-stroke, DOHC engine that comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and churns out 38.26PS and 26.5Nm of torque.
The company claims to deliver a flawless riding experience on the new 302R, courtesy of the front USD forks and rear mono-suspension. It also gets dual petal disc brakes at the front which is a first-in-class.
The 302R comes with a four-year unlimited kilometre warranty and the customer can also opt for ‘Happy Savings Plan’ which offers customers the advantage of low ownership costs, as well as warranty protection.
Confirmed to be launched on July 25, the new Triumph Tiger Explorer will be a high-end adventure touring motorcycle, focused both off- and on-road riding.
DSK is launching the Benelli Tornado 302R, its first fully-faired sportbike, on July 25. The bike will go head-to-head with the likes of the Yamaha R3 and Kawasaki Ninja 300 while eyeing to eat a small share into the sales of KTM RC 390 as well.
Based on the racing motorcycle concept, Akula 310, the upcoming Apache RR 310S is expected to be launched in August. The sport tourer will challenge the premium 300cc faired bikes with a speculated price tag near to that of the KTM RC 200.
Indian motorcycles recently unveiled its Scout Bobber in the international market. The company has confirmed to bring this new model in India in September. The company calls it a stripped down version of the standard Scout.
Yamaha is likely to launch the faired version of its new FZ25 ahead the festive season. The sport tourer will be offered with the same engine and features, while the additional fairing will provide better wind protection.
The India launch of BMW G 310 R had become a mystery. However, the manufacturer recently confirmed that the bike is on its way to the market and the company is also looking space for its adventure version, the G 310 GS. It can be expected to hit the Indian roads by the end of this year.
UML is expected to start bookings for its upcoming Renegade Classic in a couple of months, while the deliveries of this 280cc cruiser may start by 2017-end or early-2018.
DSK Benelli is expected to launch another bike from the new models showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. The manufacturer is likely to bring the TRK 502 adventure motorcycle after the Tornado 302R in the market.
Hero MotoCorp funded Ather energy will start the production of its futuristic electric scooter, the S340, in December. The company will also announce the price of the scooter along with test drives for interested customers, while deliveries are expected to begin in 2018.
Yamaha is expected to launch the BS-IV YZF-R3 sportbike in India which was discontinued due after the stringent emission standards came into action. The new model is likely to get much needed ABS as an optional extra.
