BANGALORE: Chinese auto major CFMoto debuted in India in partnership with AMW motorcycles on Friday, rolling out four motorcycles in the 300-650 cc engine categories. The prices begin at Rs 2.29 lakh and range up to Rs 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

The motorcycles are designed in Austria, manufactured in China and will be brought to India via CKD (completely knocked down) route. The assembling of parts will be done locally at AMW’s assembly plant in Bangalore.

CFMoto 300 NK



A 292-cc, single cylinder engine powers the 300NK, which costs Rs 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The motorcycle looks sporty and tips at 151 kg. Two colour schemes available are blue and grey. Rivals: KTM Duke 250, Honda CB300R and TVS Apache RR310.

CFMoto 650 NK



The street bike is power by 649.3-cc, in-line 2-cylinder engine, and costs Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The NK gets light weight frame, KYB front and rear monoshock and Metzler tyres. The bike would come in white and blue colour jobs. Rivals: Kawasaki Ninja 650 and Honda CBR650F.

CFMoto 650 MT



The adventure-cum-tourer motorcycle has a kerb weight of 213 kg and 18 L fuel tank. Priced at Rs 4.49 lakh (ex-showroom), 650 MT would take on the likes of Suzuki V-storm 650 XT, Kawasaki Versys 650. Two colour schemes available are blue and white.

CFMoto 650 GT



The performance-oriented touring motorcycle, 650 GT, carries a price tag of Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom). The design is fresh and attractive , while the motorcycle gets a generously large fuel tank (19 L). Available on sale in blue and black shades, 650 GT tips at 226 kg.

The new models will be available through dealership network in six cities based at Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Cochin, Kolkata and Guwahati. The online booking through companies website is set to begin from August 5.

All the models get two years warranty apart from optional three years extended warranty.The BS-VI complaint motorcycles are expected to arrive by December 2019, Vamsi Jagini, CEO AMW motorcycles, said.
