Motors on Thursday launched the country’s first cloud-connected electric scooter, the Flow, at Rs 74,740 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company has started bookings for the advanced e-scooter while the deliveries will start in the second quarter of this year, Twenty Two Motors said.
The Flow stands out as futuristic and unique in its segment. The scooter seems to have drawn inspiration from Italian design philosophy and the LED lights, and smart digital instrument cluster give it with a modern feel.
The electric scooter is connected to cloud servers throughout, to provide the user with a view on its performance and service requirements. Moreover, the in-built Geo-Fencing provides security against theft.
The 85kg Flow comes equipped with an advanced 90Nm DC motor that is powered by a Lithium-ion battery. The battery pack takes around five hours for a complete charge and gives a maximum range of 80 kilometres, while offering a top speed of 60kmph.
As the scooter doesn’t carry an internal combustion engine, it offers a large boot space of 24-litres, in which you can carry two helmets easily. The scooter also features a mobile charger along with technologies like regenerative braking system that charges the battery whenever you use the brakes. Both the wheels get a disc brake which is also a first in class feature throughout the scooter segment.
