Honda
Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd (HMSI) on Wednesday announced the launch of 2018 edition of its
Activa 125
across dealerships in the country. The version has been priced at Rs 59,621 (starting, ex-showroom, Delhi) and comes with LED headlight and a 4-in-1 lock with seat opener switch.
An Eco Speed Indicator, Service Due Indicator, new grey alloy wheels (optional) and a three-step adjustable rear suspension and among the other new features of the
2018 Honda Activa
125.
The alloy wheel variant of the scooter comes at Rs 61,558 and the deluxe variant with chrome plated muffler protector and a front disc brake has been priced at Rs 64,007 (both ex-showroom, Delhi).
"Honda is the driving force in India’s scooterization and has now extended its LED promise to the Activa 125," Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, HMSI, said. "Upping the premium style with additional features, the 2018 Activa 125 with the trust of over a million customers, will further strengthen Honda’s leadership in automatic scooters."
There is no other cosmetic or mechanical change in the model and it continues to get 8.6PS of power from the same 125cc HET (Honda Eco Technology) engine. Standard features of the scooter include LED daytime running lamps, digital-analog console, telescopic front suspension and CBS (Combi Brake System) with equaliser. An under-seat mobile charger is also offered as an optional extra.
Available in five colour options -- black, white, red, blue and grey -- the
Honda Activa
125 competes with the likes of the TVS NTorq 125, Suzuki Access 125 and the Vespa LX 125.
