2018 Honda Accord teased, global debut next month
The next-gen Honda Accord will be an all new model
Key Highlights
  • It will be an all new model with revised design
  • Existing V6 will be replaced with new options
  • Global sale will start by the end of this year, no word on launch in India
Revealing the first impression of the 2018 Accord, Honda has just teased a sketch of its upcoming car that is scheduled for the global debut on July 14. It can be seen in the picture that the car will feature and angular design with creases flowing from the front to the rear end. There is a better-looking chrome stretching over the new grill that perfectly gels with the sharp LED headlamp units.

The car looks more aerodynamic as compared to the existing model and the new 5-spoke alloys might make it sportier as well. It will be an all-new model in and out with new engine options. The company has already revealed that the existing 215PS, V6 petrol will not be available with the next-gen Honda Accord. This is a change that might not be appreciated by the Accord fans as both of its inline-four, turbocharged replacements, including the Civic Type R's 2.0-litre and a new 1.5 litre, will be much lower on horses. The car will also receive an updated hybrid system that might also be shared with the 2017 Civic.
