Explorer XCx in India. The adventure bike will be sold as completely built units (CBUs) in the country with aprice
tag of Rs 18.75 lakh (ex-showroom).motorcycles
, such as the Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro and the BMW R1200GS Adventure.The XCx is the top-end, off-road oriented model in the Triumph Tiger range of adventure motorcycles and comes with durable wire spoke wheels and hi-end electronics.
Aesthetically, it carries the same silhouette of the outgoing model. However, there are lots of minor changes in the design, providing it with a sharper and more rugged appearance than its predecessor.
Powering the bike is the same 1,215cc, in-line three cylinder engine but with revised tuning. The updated Euro-IV/BS-IV motor makes 137PS and delivers a torque of 123Nm, both more than the outgoing version.

The electronic package receives ride-by-wire along with a choice of riding modes (Road, Rain and Off-Road) as well as a programmable Rider mode to save specific settings. The bike also gets cornering ABS, traction control and a new inertial measurement unit (IMU) that assists for better control. The new IMU calculates lean angles to deliver traction and braking power accordingly.Confirmed to be launched on July 25, the new Triumph Tiger Explorer will be a high-end adventure touring motorcycle, focused both off- and on-road riding.
DSK is launching the Benelli Tornado 302R, its first fully-faired sportbike, on July 25. The bike will go head-to-head with the likes of the Yamaha R3 and Kawasaki Ninja 300 while eyeing to eat a small share into the sales of KTM RC 390 as well.

The India launch of BMW G 310 R had become a mystery. However, the manufacturer recently confirmed that the bike is on its way to the market and the company is also looking space for its adventure version, the G 310 GS. It can be expected to hit the Indian roads by the end of this year.
UML is expected to start bookings for its upcoming Renegade Classic in a couple of months, while the deliveries of this 280cc cruiser may start by 2017-end or early-2018.
DSK Benelli is expected to launch another bike from the new models showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. The manufacturer is likely to bring the TRK 502 adventure motorcycle after the Tornado 302R in the market.
Hero MotoCorp funded Ather energy will start the production of its futuristic electric scooter, the S340, in December. The company will also announce the price of the scooter along with test drives for interested customers, while deliveries are expected to begin in 2018.
Yamaha is expected to launch the BS-IV YZF-R3 sportbike in India which was discontinued due after the stringent emission standards came into action. The new model is likely to get much needed ABS as an optional extra.
