Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella E3 launched at Rs 23.6 lakh: Range, features & more
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has officially announced the price of the all-electric Urban Cruiser Ebella E3 in India at Rs 23.60 lakh, ex-showroom. The Urban Cruiser Ebella E3 is the top-spec variant in the lineup and comes powered by a 61 kWh battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor. While Toyota has currently announced the pricing only for the E3 variant, prices for the lower E1 and E2 variants are expected to be revealed at a later stage.
The setup produces 128kW, equivalent to around 174 bhp, along with 193 Nm of torque. Toyota claims the electric SUV can deliver a driving range of up to 543 km on a full charge. Charging options include both AC and DC fast charging support. Toyota also claims the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in around 45 minutes using a DC fast charger.
Inside the cabin, the Ebella gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster along with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Other highlights include ventilated front seats, ambient lighting with 12 colour options, sliding and reclining rear seats, a panoramic sunroof and a JBL premium sound system.
The company is also focusing heavily on ownership support for EV buyers. Toyota, at the time of unveiling, also said that it will offer an eight-year battery warranty along with Battery-as-a-Service options, assured buyback programmes and finance schemes for customers. The brand claims buyers will get an assured 60 percent buyback value after three years.
The Urban Cruiser Ebella will be offered in five monotone and four dual-tone colour options.
