Oben Rorr Evo e-bike bags 25k bookings in 15 days: Range, key details

Oben Electric has announced that its newly launched Oben Rorr Evo has crossed 25,000 bookings within just 15 days of launch. The Bengaluru-based EV maker says deliveries of the motorcycle will begin from June 2026, while the payment portal has now gone live on the company’s website. The company has also announced plans to add 200 exclusive showrooms by the end of FY27.

Oben Rorr Evo: Key details

The Oben Rorr Evo was launched at an introductory price of Rs 99,999, ex-showroom, for the first set of customers. After the introductory offer, the motorcycle will be priced at Rs 1.25 lakh, ex-showroom.

Powering the Rorr Evo is a 3.4 kWh LFP battery paired with an in-house developed IPMSM electric motor producing 9 kW peak power and 250 Nm of wheel torque. Oben claims an IDC-certified range of 180 km on a single charge, along with a top speed of 110 kmph. The motorcycle can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 3 seconds, while fast charging support allows the battery to charge from 0-80 percent in 90 minutes. The battery pack is backed by an 8-year warranty.

The motorcycle features a streetfighter-inspired design with V-shaped LED DRLs, a round LED headlamp and sharp body panels. It also offers a 780 mm seat height, 200 mm ground clearance and a 680 mm long seat. Storage capacity stands at 10 litres, including under-seat and tank-mounted storage spaces.

Feature highlights include a 5-inch colour TFT display with smartphone connectivity, navigation, geo-fencing, theft alerts, OTA updates and fall detection with emergency SOS support. The bike also gets Oben’s SmartIQ system, an AI-based ride optimisation technology claimed to improve efficiency and extend range by up to 15 percent.
