Tesla Cybertruck interior image leaked: Steering mounted indicators, instrument cluster delete and more
It’s been nearly four years since, Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, showcased the Cybertruck to the world. Since then the production of the outlandish EV has seen delays with limited production now reported to start some time in mid-2023. While little is known about the electric pickup apart from its futuristic design, an online forum consisting of members that have already booked the Cybertruck have now leaked the first images of what the interior will look like. Checkout the interior image leaked on cybertruckowners.com below.
From what can be seen clearly in the leaked image, the Tesla Cybertruck will feature a squared off steering wheel with multi-function buttons on either side. The dashboard is extremely minimal and there seems to be no digital instrument cluster on offer. The vehicle’s infotainment and entertainment seem to have been integrated into a large high-resolution display that sits in the middle of the dashboard. Upon closer inspection, it can also be made out that the control for the indicators are integrated into the steering wheel in contrast to the traditional way of having an indicator stock.
The Cybertruck will also offer a high-placed centre armrest with storage space, being an EV the floor area is flat and extra space is provided below the digital display. According to Tesla’s official website, the Cybertruck will offer a range of up to 500 miles or 800 km. The flat-bed will also have a payload capacity of up to 1,500 kilograms and it will be capable of going from 0-100 in approximately 6.5 seconds. The Cybertruck will also get an air-suspension set up once production versions are ready to be delivered.
