Tata Motors today rolled out the 50,000th vehicle, the Nexon EV from its manufacturing facility in Pune, Maharashtra. The brand has delivered this EV to
N Chandrasekaran, Chairman of
Tata Group. The company shared this information on its social media platforms.
In January 2022, Tata Motors entered into the Passenger Vehicle electric mobility segment with the Tata Nexon EV. Witnessing the overwhelming response the Nexon EV received, the company had introduced several EVs, such as the Tiago EV and the Tigor EV.
Tata Nexon EVPowering the Tata Nexon EV Prime is a 30.2 kWh Lithium-ion battery that develops 127 hp power and 245 Nm torque. The Tata Nexon EV Max makes use of a 40.5 kWh Lithium-ion battery, producing 141 hp power and 250 Nm torque. In terms of range, the Nexon EV Prime promises a range of 312 km on a single charge, while the Nexon EV Max offers a driving range of 437 km per charge.
Currently, the Tata Nexon EV Prime price in India is Rs 14.99 lakh - Rs 17.50 lakh, while the Tata Nexon EV Max is priced between Rs 18.34 lakh - Rs 20.04 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).
Tata Tigor EVThe Tata Tigor EV price in India starts from Rs 12.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 13.75 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom) for the top-spec XZ+ Lux variant. The Tigor EV is powered by a 26 kWh Lithium-ion battery and an electric motor, producing 74.7 PS power and 170 Nm torque. It offers a claimed range of 315 km per charge.
Tata Tiago EVA few months back, Tata Motors introduced the Tiago EV in India, with prices ranging from Rs 8.49 lakh to Rs 11.79 lakh (introductory prices, ex-showroom). Offered in four variants, namely XE, XT, XZ+ and XZ+ Tech Lux, the Tata Tiago EV comes powered by two battery packs - a 19.2 kW and 25 kW. The former delivers a range of 250 km, while the latter offers a driving range of 315 km, says Tata.
