Mercedes-Benz EQS gets MANUFAKTUR custom package: Two new colours, Nappa leather and more
Mercedes-Benz has announced an exclusive customisation package for the customers of its EQS flagship EV. Earlier reserved for models such as the S-Class and AMG GT4 Coupe, the MANUFAKTUR package brings two new exterior colours and five new interior themes for the EQS. There is also the addition of Nappa leather and diamond quilting to give the EQS interior that extra oomph with the special upgrade.
Customers going in for the MANUFAKTUR package will now get the option of choose between a non-metallic Vintage Blue or a Kalahari Gold Mango exterior paint scheme. This brings up the number of total paint schemes available for the EQS to nine options. The package also adds the option to choose from five new interior themes for added individualisation. The new interior themes include Rose Grey, Deep White, Yach Blue, Tobacco Brown and Mystic Red with Napa leather seats featuring diamond-style quilting.
Additionally, the upgraded Nappa leather interior in the new colours will be applied to several components such as the door armrests, centre console and the lower section of the digital instrument panel. The steering wheel will also be colour coordinated and wrapped in Nappa leather. The high-pile floor mats and headrest cushions will also get the same treatment.
Mercedes-Benz has introduced the MANUFAKTUR package for the EQS at an additional cost of 11,007.5 Euros (Rs 9.67 lakh approximately). Currently, it is unclear if customers buying the EQS EV in India will get the option as well.
Currently, the Mercedes0Benz EQS range in India costs between Rs 1.55 to 2.45 crore.
