Mercedes-AMG has revealed the SUV version of the EQE, which makes it the first fully-electric performance SUV from the house of Mercedes-AMG performance and sports car brand. The AMG EQE SUV is based on the same Mercedes EQ platform as the AMG EQE saloon as well as the flagship AMG EQS saloon.
Talking about the design, the AMG EQE SUV gets the AMG-specific black panel radiator grille, flanked by chunky LED headlamps.
Mercedes has used an AMG Affalterbach logo on the hood of the SUV, and not the three-pointed star - first for any Mercedes-AMG electric car. Just like the EQE and EQE sedans, aerodynamics have been an important factor for the design of the EQE SUV, and it is quite evident with its curvy design.
