Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to make its electric debut in India with the much-anticipated e-Vitara, set to launch later this year. Positioned as a direct rival to the Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curvv EV, and Mahindra BE 06, the e-Vitara recently made its official debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Now, the company has shared fresh details about its features and colour options.

Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara: Features


The e-Vitara will come equipped with LED headlights, DRLs, and tail-lights. It will ride on 18-inch alloy wheels, while active air vents on the grille are expected to enhance aerodynamics. Inside, the SUV will offer a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, paired with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Other features include a panoramic sunroof, multi-colour ambient lighting, a wireless charger, and an Infinity by Harman audio system with connected car tech.

Other key highlights include ventilated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, reclining and sliding rear seats, and a PM 2.5 air filter. The SUV will also feature multiple driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport, along with Snow mode, regenerative braking, and one-pedal driving to enhance efficiency.



On the safety front, the e-Vitara will be well-equipped with seven airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, rear disc brakes, a 360-degree camera, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold. Additionally, it will come with a Blind Spot Monitor and an Acoustic Vehicle Alarm System for pedestrian safety. The most notable addition is Level 2 ADAS.

Maruti e-Vitara: Battery, range & platform


The Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara is built on the all-new Heartect-e platform, designed specifically for EVs. It will be offered with two battery options: 49 kWh and 61 kWh. The larger 61 kWh battery is expected to offer an impressive range of up to 500 km on a single charge.

Maruti e-Vitara: 10 colour options


Maruti Suzuki will offer the e-Vitara in 10 colour choices. There will be six single-tone colours: Nexa Blue, Splendid Silver, Arctic White, Grandeur Grey, Bluish Black, and Opulent Red. Additionally, there will be four dual-tone options: Arctic White, Land Breeze Green, Splendid Silver, and Opulent Red, all featuring a contrasting black roof.
