The Citroen eC3 was launched as the French carmaker's first fully-electric car in India in February this year, and now, the EV has received its second price hike since then! After increasing the prices by up to Rs 25,000 in August, Citroen has now introduced the eC3's second price hike, which amounts to Rs 11,000.

The prices of all variants of the eC3 have been uniformly hiked this time around, with the base variant now starting from Rs 11.61 lakh, going all the way up to Rs 12.79 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom) for the top-end trim. No changes have been made to the electric car owing to the price revision whatsoever.




The Citroen eC3 is equipped with a 29.2 kWh battery pack that powers the front-mounted electric motor, putting out 56 hp of power and 143 Nm of torque. The eC3 has an ARAI-certified range of 320 km on a single charge. Citroen claims that the battery of the vehicle can be fully juiced up with a 15A charger in 10 hours and 30 minutes, while a DC fast charger can recharge it from 10 - 80% in 57 minutes. The eC3 currently faces competition from the likes of Tata Tiago EV and Tigor EV in the Indian market.
