BYD India has delivered 200 units of the Atto 3 electric SUV in a single day at a mega event recently. To celebrate its 16 years in the country, the event was conducted in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kochi. The BYD Atto 3 e-SUV is available at a starting price of Rs 33.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
BYD Atto 3: Battery and range Equipped with a 60.48 kWh battery, the BYD Atto 3 offers an ARAI-certified range of 521 km. The electric motor generates a peak power of 198 hp and a max torque of 310 Nm. Using a fast charger, the battery can be charged from 0-80% in 50 minutes, however at home the battery can be juiced up from 0-80 percent in 9.5-10 hours.
BYD Atto 3: Exterior and Interior Featuring a blanked-off silver front grille and sleeker-looking wing-shaped LED DRLs, the BYD Atto 3 features trapezoidal shaped dual-tone bumper, a faux silver skid plate and BYD lettering over the grille. The side profile is flanked by 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, silver finish on C-pillar and blacked-out wheel arches. At the rear, the BYD Atto 3 is equipped with chunky dual-tone bumper, a roof-mounted spoiler and full-length LED tail-lamps.
Moving on to the interior, the BYD Atto 3 sports a 12.8-inch rotating central screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 5.0-inch digital instrument cluster, door-mounted circular speakers, stylish air-con vents, wireless charger, powered tailgate, powered front driver and passenger seats, ambient lighting and a panoramic sunroof. Safety suite of the BYD Atto 3 include seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, ADAS features, hill descent control, ESC, ABS, traction control and hill descent control.
