BYD has launched the Atto 3 electric SUV at a starting price of Rs 33.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in November 2022. Now, the company has confirmed that the EV has received 1,500 bookings in one month, while its deliveries will begin from January 2023.
The Atto 3 electric SUV is available in four colour options - Boulder Grey, Parkour Red, Ski White and Surf Blue. Mechanically, the BYD Atto 3 is propelled by a 60.48 kWh battery and a single electric motor, cumulatively producing 201 bhp power and 301 Nm torque. The electric SUV accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 7.3 seconds and offers a claimed range of 521 km per charge.
As far as interior features are concerned, the BYD Atto electric SUV comes equipped with a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 5-inch digital instrument cluster, powered front seats and ambient lighting.
Exterior highlights include all-LED lighting, a panoramic sunroof and 18-inch alloy wheels. In terms of safety, the BYD Atto 3 gets a list of features, such as a 360-degree parking camera, front and rear parking sensors, 7 airbags, TPMS, ABS with EBD, TCS and ESP.
Moreover, the company is offering a 6-year/1.50 lakh km warranty on the Atto 3 electric SUV and an 8-year/1.60 lakh km warranty on the battery.
