German luxury carmaker is all set to launch its Q8 e-tron electric SUV in the Indian market on August 18, 2023. The Audi Q8 e-tron will be available in standard SUV and Sportback coupe variants. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming electric SUV.
Audi Q8 e-tron: ExteriorSpeaking about the design, the Audi Q8 e-tron will feature a blacked-out redesigned grille extending beneath the headlamps, Audi's new monochrome logo and a downward-projecting light bar at the front. Furthermore, the electric SUV receives a reprofiled front bumper and large air intakes on both sides.
Audi Q8 e-tron and Q8 e-tron Sportback will sit on uniquely-designed 20-inch alloy wheels. The B-pillar of the electric SUV highlights the 'Q8 e-tron quartto' lettering and 'Q8' badging is available on the tailgate.
Audi Q8 e-tron: InteriorIn terms of interior, the Audi Q8 e-tron will receive similar cabin layout as its predecessor. The electric SUV will be equipped with an array of features, such as powered front seats with memory function, heated/ventilated front seats with massage function, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8.6-inch screen, a digital instrument cluster, and more. Some key interior features will be a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof and a Bang and Olufsen 16-speaker sound system.
Audi Q8 e-tron: PowertrainMechanically, the Audi Q8 e-tron will source its power from a 114kWh battery, offering an WLTP cycle range of up to 600 kilometres. The dual electric motor setup powered by the battery, cumulatively produce a peak power of 408 hp and a max torque of 664 Nm. The electric SUV is capable of doing 0-100 kmph in 5.6
Audi Q8 e-tron will get a 22 kW AC charger, which can juice up the battery from 0-100% in around six hours. The battery can be charged from 10-80% in 31 minutes using a DC fast charger.
Audi Q8 e-tron: Expected price and rivals The Audi Q8 e-tron is likely to priced between Rs 1.10 crore to Rs 1.40 crore in the Indian market. It will go against the likes of the Jaguar i-Pace across the country.
