Indian electric cycle manufacturer Svitch Bike today launched the LITE XE foldable electric cycle at a starting price of Rs 74,999. The company has introduced an exclusive collection of foldable luxury e bikes on the occasion of Diwali, said an official release.
The LITE XE is available in 5 colour schemes - Scarlet Red, Midnight Sapphire, Yankee Yellow, & two special edition colours: Goblin Green and Berlin Grey. Interested customers can book the Svitch LITE XE by visiting the Svitch Bike website or contact the brand through social media.
Offering a claimed range of up to 80 km, the Svitch LITE XE is equipped with features like adjustable (handlebar, seat bar, suspension), an LCD digital display, 20X3 sleek tyres and a tail-light with indicator. Moreover, it gets 5 PAS Modes (Pedal Assist System) and 7-speed Shimano Gears.
The Svitch LITE XE is powered by a 36V, 250W motor and 36V, 10.4 AH battery. Svitch mentioned that LITE XE is the 5th addition in its product catalogue that consists of 4 electric cycles and 1 non-electric cycle. Currently, the brand’s line-up includes XE+, XE, MXE, NXE and the LITE XE.
Recently, Svitch Bike made history as its riders (Dilip Reddy & Punith Reddy) completed a whopping 422 kms in a record 12 hours covering Karnataka, Tamil Nadu & Andhra Pradesh on Svitch XE electric cycle, said a media release. The record has been registered under 3 different titles: High Range Book of World Record, maximum distance covered on an electric bicycle in one day under India Book of Records 2024 & National record under OMG Book of Records.
