Simple Energy is working to launch two new affordable electric scooters in the coming quarter. With the commencement of the deliveries of its flagship product- Simple One, the company has started the development of two new electric scooters.

With the planned launches, Simple Energy is ready to make its portfolio much more accessible. The company commenced the Simple One deliveries in Bangalore on June 6, 2023.

The Simple One electric scooter launched in India at a price of Rs 1.45 lakh. Simple One Brazen X Edition is priced at Rs 1.58 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom). The electric scooter gets LED headlamps and indicators and DRLs at the front. It is available in six colour options, including Azure Blue, Namma Red, Grace White, Brazen Black, Brazen X and Light X.

Powering the Simple One is a 5 kWh lithium-ion battery (fixed and removable), which offers a claimed range of 212 km per charge. The battery is coupled with an 8.5 kW electric motor, producing a max torque of 72 Nm. The electric scooter has a top speed of 105 kmph. Using a home charger, the battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in 6 hours.


Speaking of the features, Simple One e-scooter comes equipped with a digital display, offering Bluetooth connectivity , Android OS, regenerative braking and more. The electric scooter gets four riding modes - Eco, Dash, Ride, and Sonic. Simple One has a storage capacity of 30 litres.
