Ola Electric recently commenced the deliveries of its new S1 X+ electric scooter in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom), the Ola S1 X+ is the most affordable variant of the S1 series on sale. The two-wheeler manufacturer recently also announced a cash discount of Rs 20,000 on the Ola S1 X+, making the e-scooter cost Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom) for a limited period.
Ola S1 X+: Battery and rangeBuilt on the Gen 2 platform underpinning all the Ola S1 scooters, the S1 X+ comes equipped with a 3 kWh battery, offering a certified range of 151 km. Powered by a 6 kW motor, the electric scooter does 0-40 kmph in just 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 90 kmph.
Discounts on Ola S1 scooters in December 2023 Ola Electric has also announced exclusive offers for its community members. They can avail 50% discount on extended warranty on all second-generation scooters, and a cashback of up to Rs 2,000 on each successful referral, says the two-wheeler manufacturer. Further, it added that the referee can avail of a cashback of up to Rs 3,000 on the purchase of an S1 Pro second-generation or S1 Air.
The company introduced the second-gen S1 Pro at Rs 1.47 lakh and S1 X at a starting price of Rs 89,999 (both prices, ex-showroom) in August this year. The reservation window for the S1 X (3kWh) and S1 X (2kWh) is open at Rs 999 only and these e-scooters are available at an introductory price of Rs 99,999 and Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom), respectively.
