Bengaluru-based Ola Electric today announced that the purchase window for its S1 Air electric scooter will open on July 28th, 2023. The limited-period purchase window will remain open between 28th July to 30th July 2023, said the company.

The limited-period purchase window will remain open between 28th July to 30th July 2023, said the company. After 31st July, customers will have to pay Rs 1,19,999(ex-showroom) for the electric scooter, added the company.
Deliveries will begin in early August.
Following the official announcement, Ola Electric shared a post on its Twitter handle that read, "The all-new versatile S1 Air is arriving on 28th July #EndICEage".

Ola community can also make bookings even before 28th July and purchase the S1 Air at an introductory price of Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom), said the company.
The Ola S1 Air boasts a 3 kWh battery, offering a certified range of 125 km. The e-scooter has a top speed of 90 kmph. Equipped with a hub motor, referred to as the Ola Hyperdrive Motor, the Ola S1 Air electric scooter will generate a peak power of 11.3 hp and a max torque of 58 Nm. In terms of features, the S1 Air comes equipped with an LED headlamp, a 7.0-inch TFT screen, smartphone connectivity, reverse mode, OTA updates, remote boot lock/unlock, and music playback.

It will have three riding modes - Eco, Normal, and Sport. In terms of suspension, the Ola S1 Air will have front telescopic forks instead of a mono-shock and twin-shock absorbers at the rear.

In a recent tweet, Ola Electric also claimed that the S1 Air electric scooter is tested for over 5,00,000 km.
