Ola Electric to unveil MoveOS 4 on August 15: Teases new EV

Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer Ola Electric recently confirmed the unveiling of the MoveOS 4 update for all its electric scooters on August 15, 2023. The upcoming MoveOS 4 update is likely to be officially rolled out by the end of 2023. Along with this, Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Ola Electric has also teased a new EV without revealing any details about the product.


Ola MoveOS 4: Expected features

The EV manufacturer took to its Twitter handle and shared a video of its upcoming Move OS 4 update. With this update, the Ola S1 scooters are expected to get Concert mode, an extension of the Party mode. The current-gen S1's party mode is equipped with a lights sync function to the song playing on the electric scooter. However, with the new Concert mode, lights and music will sync between multiple Ola electric scooters at the same time.


Ola MoveOS 4: Multiple moods and updated navigation

With MoveOS 4 update, Ola Electric might add multiple moods to the S1 electric scooters. Basically, moods are different home screens for a digital instrument cluster. Currently, the Ola S1 e-scooters are available with three mood options - Light, Dark and Auto.

Two months back, Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Ola Electric also confirmed that the company will introduce the Ola Maps, which will likely be used for navigation. With Ola Maps, the EV manufacturer is likely to introduce the Ather Trip Planner feature which helps riders by letting them know where they need to charge to reach their desired destination.
