Ola Electric has recently launched its new electric scooter, namely the Ola S1. The e scooter is the big sibling of the Ola S1 Pro with almost the same features. Today, Ola Electric has opened the purchase window of its electric scooter.

The Ola S1 e scooter is priced at Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom) and can be booked at Rs 499. This strategy has worked for Ola and it has received 10,000 orders in one day.

Ola S1 booking window
The company has again opened the booking window for its Ola S1 electric scooter today. Ola will prioritize the customers who have reserved the electric scooter from August 15 to August 31. Customers who have already reserved the e scooter will participate in the early bird booking window and can place their order.

Interested customers who have not been able to reserve the scooter in this period can use the next scheduled booking window. They can place their order tomorrow, September 2 until stocks last. Deliveries for the S1 electric scooter will start from September 7, 2022.

At the heart, the Ola S1 electric scooter is powered by a 3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack thast offer a claimed range of 141 km per charge. According to Ola, the electric scooter's real-world range is 101 km on a single charge in Normal mode, while in Eco mode it offers 128 km per charge. The e scooter claims a top speed of 95 kmph.

Ola Electric is also gearing up to introduce MoveOS 3 update for its electric scooters in the Indian market around festive season. With this update, the electric scooter will get more features, such as enhanced regen and digital key sharing.
