Goa-based electric vehicle startup Kabira Mobility has launched the second-gen KM3000 and KM4000 Mark-II electric motorcycles, priced from Rs 1.74 lakh, ex-showroom.

The KM3000 and KM4000 models offer distinct designs as the former features a fully-faired design, while the KM4000 adopts a street naked look. Despite their aesthetic differences, both models share the same diamond steel tube frame. Additionally, the swingarm material varies based on the sub-variants of the motorcycles, with options including steel or aluminum alloy for enhanced performance and durability.

Kabira KM3000, KM4000: Powertrain

The models feature an Aluminium core Hub Motor powertrain. As per the company, this technology enables the bikes to achieve a top speed of 120 kmph and accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.9 seconds.

Key highlights of the KM3000 and KM4000 Mark-II models include a range of 201 km, a 1.5kW on-board charger. Powered by a 12kW in-hub powertrain developed by Foxconn, the bikes deliver a claimed maximum torque of 192 Nm. Safety features include Dual CBS and larger disc brakes, front telescopic forks by Showa, and a monoshock unit at the rear.

Kabira KM3000, KM4000: Price

The KM3000 and KM4000 Mark-II models are priced at Rs 1.74 lakh and Rs 1.76 lakh, ex-showroom, respectively. Test rides for these models will be available at selected locations, with deliveries scheduled to commence from March 2024 through the company’s dealership network.
