Hop Electric today launched its Hop Oxo electric motorcycle at a starting price of Rs 1.56 lakh and goes up to Rs 1.80 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom). The brand announced the launch at the Hyderabad E-Motor Show, organised by the State Government of Telangana.
Customers can purchase the Hop Oxo at the company’s 10 experience centers located in Hyderabad, including Himayat Nagar, Uppal, Karmanghat, Malakpet, Kompally, Kukatpally, and Medchal, to name a few.
Hop Oxo: Colour options The Hop Oxo is available in 5 colour options - Twilight Grey, Candy Red, Magnetic Blue, Electric Yellow and True Black. The company states that Pro Package features are subject to terms and conditions.
Hop Oxo: Battery and range The Hop Oxo electric motorcycle is powered by a 3.75 kWh Lithium-ion battery that offers a claimed range of 135 km to 150 km. It makes use of an BLDC hub motor, producing a peak power of 5.2 kW/6.2 kW and a max torque of 185 Nm/200 Nm. The Hop Oxo has a top speed of 90 kmph/95 kmph.
The battery charges from 0 to 80 percent in 4 hours using an 850W charger. Hop Oxo electric motorcycle gets 4 riding modes - Eco, Power, Sport and Reverse as well as comes with Sinusoidal FOC Vector Control.

Hop Oxo: Features As far as the features are concerned, the Hop Oxo electric motorcycle is equipped with a 5-inch Smart LCD Display for connectivity that includes 4G LTE CAT4*, GNSS with AGPS*, BLE 5.0* with a Mobile App, and 128-bit encryption (Edge to cloud security)*.
Hop Oxo: Suspension and braking Suspension duties are handled by an upright telescopic fork at the front and hydraulic spring loaded shock absorber at the rear. With a load capacity of 250 kg, the Hop OXo has received disc brakes with Combi-brake system and regenerative braking for safety.
