Ather 450S electric scooter launched with 3 kWh battery: Price starts at Rs 1.30 lakh

Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer Ather Energy today announced the launch of its new variant, the 450S at a starting price of Rs 1,29,999 (exclusive of state subsidy). The 450S variant will be sold as the entry-level variant of the 450 range. This new variant will be powered by a 3 kWh battery that is likely to offer an IDC range of 115 km and a top speed of 90 kmph. Bookings for the Ather 450S will commence from July onwards at authorised dealerships in India. Meanwhile, buyers can register for the Ather 4S0X at the official website. The new Ather 450S will be sold alongside the 450X and the 450X Pro pack in the Indian market.“The 450S will be our new entry-level variant for those looking to enter the electric segment but are seeking the quality and assurance that Ather scooters provide. Following the FAME-II subsidy revision, the EV manufacturer has updated the prices of the Ather 450X and the 450X Pro Pack to Rs 1.45 lakh and Rs 1.65 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom, Bangalore). The Ministry of Heavy Industries has revised the FAME-II subsidy to Rs 10,000 per kWh with a maximum cap of 15% of the ex-showroom price. Ex-showroom prices (inclusive of FAME II & state subsidy)
