Hyundai unveils micro e three & four-wheeler concepts at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025
NEW DELHI: Hyundai Motor Company on Saturday unveiled concept models of its advanced electric three-wheeler and micro four-wheeler at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, which is being held from January 17-22 in Delhi and Greater Noida.
The South Korean automaker also announced that it is exploring a partnership with TVS to develop last-mile mobility solutions for India. This includes the potential development of advanced electric three-wheelers and micro four-wheelers tailored for Indian cities and villages.
The three-Wheeler concept is proposed to be produced in collaboration with TVS, while the development of the four Wheeler is under review, Hyundai said.
"Collaborating with TVS Motor, we aim to locally produce the three-wheeler while exploring global opportunities for the four-wheeler, blending intuitive functionality with the spirit of a rapidly innovating India," said SangYup Lee, executive vice president and head of Hyundai and Genesis Global Design.
Under the proposed collaboration, Hyundai would focus on providing design, engineering, and technology, while TVS would look at manufacturing and marketing the vehicles.
"By combining Hyundai Motor's global expertise with our deep understanding of mobility solutions, we aim to develop next-generation micro-mobility solutions that redefine last-mile connectivity," said Sharad Mishra, president, group gtrategy, TVS, while speaking at the event.
He added, "With a shared vision, we are confident that this partnership under discussion will deliver impactful solutions that set new standards in design, engineering, technology, and quality."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the largest mobility expo in India, on Friday.
The five-day expo is being held across three venues: Bharat Mandapam and Yashobhoomi in the national capital and India Expo Center and Mart, Greater Noida.
