Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, the manufacturer of BharatBenz commercial vehicles has launched its pre-owned and certified CV business in the country. Making its entry into the pre-owned CV market, DICV has launched the new brand as ‘BharatBenz Certified’. Under this business that manufacturer will undertake the refurbishment and sale of pre-owned BharatBenz trucks and buses for fleet owners looking to buy into the brand on a budget.
Under the BharatBenz Certified program, pre-owned commercial vehicles will be refurbished and restored after undergoing a 125-point quality check. The vehicles will come with a warranty of six months and customers will also be offered an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for the pre-owned trucks and buses. Any extended warranty bought buy the first owner of a CV, will also get transferred to the next buyer.
Speaking on the development, Mr. Rajaram K - President, BharatBenz Marketing, Sales and Customer Service said, "BharatBenz Certified will also be the catalyst for first-hand BharatBenz customers to upgrade their fleet to new BharatBenz vehicles which in turn creates an opportunity for customers aspiring to own safe and reliable pre-owned BharatBenz vehicles that will be as good as new after they are refurbished and restored by BharatBenz Certified."
The manufacturer also claims that BharatBenz CVs have a much longer life-span than other commercial vehicles that last up to 5 to 6 years. This makes BharatBenz Certified a lucrative option for fleet owners.
