SML Isuzu has showcased four new products on the Day 2 of this edition of the Auto Expo - India's biggest automotive show. The company revealed 1 product in the cargo segment, while the rest 3 belong to passenger segment.
The biggest reveal for the brand this year was the 24 ft. M.S. Container, which was unveiled for the Samrat GS truck platform. SML Isuzu says that the container is fully equipped for transportation and logistics of white goods, FMCG, parcel delivery, e-commerce, and all manner of volumetric applications. It is built on the company's Global Series platform. Moreover, the container truck gets something called SML Saarthi - SML Isuzu's advanced telematics solutions.
Apart from the container truck, the company has also showcased the Front Door Hiroi School Bus, Executive Lx CNG School Bus as well as the Executive Lx Staff bus. The Executive Staff bus comes equipped with fully reclined pushback seats for added comfort, ambient lighting and USB ports too. There's also a multimedia on-board entertainment unit system.
The Hiroi School Bus is claimed to have a wide front overhang door, while it is also fully equipped with all school bus and safety norms set by the government. The Executive Lx School Bus CNG, as the name suggests, run on a CNG powertrain which is slightly more friendly to the environment as compared to, say, petrol or diesel.
