Renault India has announced the launch of government-approved CNG retrofitment kits for the Renault Kwid, Triber and Kiger. The CNG kit for Triber and Kiger is priced at Rs 79,500 and Re 75,000 for Kwid. The kits come with a three-year warranty and standardized fitment and the company said they will The CNG retrofitment kit will be made available in a phased manner with sales starting in five key states of Haryana, UP, Delhi, Gujarat & Maharashtra, contributing 65% of the market and subsequently cover 100% in the coming months.
Renault says that the CNG kits will further enhance fuel efficiency while ensuring sustainability and the CNG retrofitment kit is available for all variants and models except automatic and Turbo variants. Renault recently launched the updated Triber and Kiger with new features and the variants has made certain premium features available in lower trims for both models. Additionally, the engines in both models are now E20 compliant.
The 2025 Renault Kiger and Triber now come standard with four power windows and remote central locking. From the RXL trim onwards, all variants are equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with a rearview camera and steering-mounted controls. Additionally, the Kiger’s RXT (O) variant and the Triber’s RXT variant now feature flex wheels, while the top-spec RXZ Turbo variant of the Kiger includes a smart access card with remote engine start.
