The upcoming SUV is internally codenamed 520 and could arrive in India around October this year. The model is expected to be positioned above the Hector in MG’s line-up.

An all-electric version of the SUV is also available internationally, although the test vehicle seen in India is likely the plug-in hybrid model. The upcoming SUV is expected to be among the first new locally manufactured MG models introduced after the Windsor EV. More details are likely to emerge closer to launch.
