The diesel variant of the MPV comes with a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine. The 1956cc diesel engine delivers a maximum power output of 170 PS and peak torque of 350 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and an automatic gearbox.
The 6-seater MPV is loaded with the new version of the i-Smart with over 55 connected car features. Hector Plus packs a bigger front grille and new head and tail lamps against Hector. The middle row gets captain seats and is wrapped with brown leatherette material.
MG Hector Plus’s ‘Smart Swipe’ feature that lets you open the tailgate simply by the swipe of your foot. The MG Hector Plus will currently be available in six colour schemes.
MG Hector will compete against the likes of Tata Hexa, Maruti Suzuki XL6, Mahindra Marazzo and Toyota Innova Crysta.

MG Hector Plus
comes in three engine options - petrol, diesel and hybrid petrol. The petrol variant will be powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged inter-cooled engine. The 1451-cc engine will deliver a maximum power output of 143 PS and offer a peak torque of 250 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT gearbox.
