NEW DELHI: Olympic medalist Sumit Antil on Saturday received the a personalised Mahindra XUV700 gold edition.

Antil has won gold medal in men's javelin throw F64 category at the 2020 Summer Paralympics.

, EVP and chief Design officer, M&M. The personalised XUV700 comes with a midnight black shade that flaunts tasteful gold accents inside and out.



What makes the Gold Edition XUV700 stand out? Here are some highlights:

* Sumit Antil’s noteworthy record has been embedded as a badge on the fender, tailgate, also on all the six headrests and on the front dashboard.

* The front grille has been custom-made and has been embedded with gold plating on the place of silver vertical slats of the grille.

* All the seats and the IP panel have been stitched with gold threads as accents.

Anand Mahindra, Mahindra Group chairman had announced in the past that the XUV700 Javelin Edition will be gifted to the gold medal winners at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

Called the XUV700 Javelin Edition, the SUV will also be gifted to Neeraj Chopra, and Avani Lekhara, who managed to secure gold medals at the recently held Olympics and Paralympics.
