Mahindra XUV 3XO electric launched at Rs 13.89 lakh: Battery, range and more
Mahindra and Mahindra have just announced the launch of the new Mahindra XUV 3XO electric SUV in the Indian market. This new EV steps in as the replacement for the outgoing XUV400 EV and is offered in two variants AX5 and AX7 L priced at Rs 13.89 lakh and Rs 14.96 lakh, respectively (both prices ex-showroom). The 7.2kW charger is available as an optional extra for an additional Rs 50,000.
The bookings for the EV SUV are expected to begin soon and the deliveries are scheduled to begin from February 23, 2026. The 3XO electric is based on the ICE-powered 3XO and carries forward the battery pack and electric motor from the XUV400. In doing so, it replaces the Mahindra XUV400 and now competes directly with the Tata Nexon EV. In terms of design changes, the EV looks very similar to the ICE model except for a few changes. It features rose-gold accents on the grille, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, an EV charging port positioned on the left front fender, LED fog lamps, and a dedicated EV badge on the tailgate.
Moving inside, the overall layout is the same as the ICE model but has a few differences. Features-wise, it gets a panoramic sunroof, twin-10.25-inch screens - one infotainment system and cluster, LED projector headlamps and DRLs, Adrenox with built-in Alexa, 65W Type-C charging ports, cooled glove box, seven-speaker Harman Kardon music system with Dolby Atmos and more. Safety-wise, it gets Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, six airbags, auto dimming IRVM, ESC, TCS, ABS and more.
Talking about the battery pack and range, it’s powered by a 39.4kWh battery pack paired with a single electric motor which sends power to the front wheels. It has a claimed range of 285km on a single charge and the motor has an output of 147 bhp and 310 Nm.
