Mahindra and Mahindra recently launched the Mahindra BE6 Batman edition SUV in the Indian market priced at Rs 27.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Interested customers can book the e-SUV starting August 23 for a token amount of Rs 21,000, and deliveries will begin on September 20, on International Batman Day. The Batman edition is based on the top-spec Pack Three variant and costs Rs 89,000 more than the standard model.

What makes it truly special is Mahindra’s official tie-up with Warner Bros, marking the first-ever collaboration between an automaker and the Batman franchise for a production model. It is limited to just 300 units, worldwide. The BE 6 Batman Edition features an exclusive satin black paint finish, complemented by gloss-black cladding on the wheel arches and bumpers for a striking contrast. Adding to the dark theme are Batman-inspired decals on the front doors, along with multiple Bat logos subtly placed across.

A gold-finished Batman emblem adorns multiple spots on the BE 6 Batman Edition, including the front fenders, wheel hubcaps, rear bumper, windows, and rear windshield. The theme continues with gold-painted suspension springs and brake callipers, adding a bold contrast to the all-black exterior.

Rounding off the details is a special ‘BE 6 × The Dark Knight’ limited-edition badge placed on the tailgate, highlighting its exclusivity.

Moving inside, the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition carries forward the dark theme with a dual-tone black cabin, contrasted by gold accents. Few interior highlights include a halo-like gold surround for the driver’s seat, gold stitching on the upholstery, and a numbered Batman Edition plaque on the centre console.

The touches of gold extend to the AC vents, rotary dial, and even the key fob, adding a sense of exclusivity. It also gets multiple Dark Knight Trilogy logos, which can be spotted on the seats, dashboard trim on the passenger side, interior labels, door handles, and even the boost button on the steering wheel.

The ambient lighting integrated into the panoramic glass roof carries a Dark Knight Trilogy theme, while the puddle lamps also project the iconic Batman logo onto the ground. The digital instrument cluster plays a Batman Edition welcome animation, accompanied by a unique Batman-themed start-up sound.
