Come festive season, the Korean carmaker is set to woo its customers with a new trim line of Seltos. The X-Line will sit on top of the ladder over the Tech and GT Lines.

The X-Line is basically a fully loaded GT-Line trim with a handful of cosmetic upgrades. The X-Line Concept showcased at the Auto Expo 2020 had a similar matte paint shade, however, was more rugged and off-road in appearance.

In the last two years, Kia says 3 out of 5 customers choose the top variants. Moreover, every second car Kia has sold is a connected car. The encouraging numbers for feature-packed trims could well be the reason behind the introduction of new, range-topping X-Line.

The X-Line has started arriving at select dealerships and the product is expected to go on sale in the first week of September.

The X-Line gets matte graphite colour shade, which is in-a-first for the segment. Kia uses red embellishments on the GT-Line. Similarly, the X-Line gets orange accents of the bumpers and side cladding.

The wheels have grown in size. The X-Line sits on 18-inch, diamond-cut alloys which are slightly different in design. On the tailgate, the X-Line badge is finished on the side in italics.

The X-Line’s interior is draped in Pera Leatherette upholstery which is executive in indigo. Identical soft-touch material is pasted on door panels as well.

The X-Line will continue to be a connected variant with bells and whistles like 10.25-inch infotainment, heads-up display, front ventilated and electrically adjustable seats and air purifier. That said, we expected the introduction of a panoramic sunroof in Seltos with X-Line.
