gets a redesigned bumper for better approach and departure angles. It also gets new projector LED headlights, LED fog lamps with cornering function, and a seven-slat grille from the face-lifted Compass.

Talking about the features, it gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital instrumental cluster, auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror, rain-sensing wipers, 360-degree camera, ventilated and powered front seats, panoramic sunroof and many more.

The Jeep Compass Trailhawk gets off-road-oriented enhancements such as

Rock Mode

, smaller 17-inch alloys with a set of 225/65 R17 “all-season” tyres, raised ride height, and scuff plates. Jeep says that the Trailhawk’s raised suspension gives it a water wading depth of 19 inches that is largely due to a repositioned snorkel. The ground clearance has been increased by 27mm over the standard Compass range.

It also gets ‘Trail Rated’ badges on the fenders and the Trailhawk logo on the boot lid. The engine on offer is the same 2.0-litre diesel unit which produces 170 bhp with 350 nm of torque. This engine is mated to a nine-speed automatic gearbox.

At this price point, the Jeep Compass Trailhawk rivals the Skoda Kodiaq 4x4, VW Tiguan 4 Motion,

Hyundai

Tuscon AWD and Mahindra XUV 700 AWD.
