To mark its 8th anniversary in India, Jeep has introduced a special Anniversary Edition of the Compass SUV. This limited-run edition comes with several cosmetic upgrades, both inside and out. It, however, remains unchanged in terms of mechanicals of the standard model. Here, let’s take a look at what’s on offer with this special edition model.

Jeep Compass Anniversary Edition: What’s new


On the exterior, the Compass gets a stylish Velvet Red grille insert, a dual-tone hood decal consisting of black and red colours, and blacked-out ORVMs. The SUV rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and features LED headlights and tail lamps.


Moving inside, the special edition sports red leatherette seat covers, white ambient lighting, and also gets a dashcam. Otherwise, it continues to offer a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ensuring seamless smartphone integration. Besides that, it gets a panoramic sunroof, dual airbags, a 360-degree camera etc. Other notable features include a wireless phone charger, dual-zone automatic climate control, and rear AC vents.

Under the hood, the Anniversary Edition retains the 2.0-litre diesel engine, delivering 168 hp and 350 Nm of torque. Customers can choose between a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission, both in front-wheel-drive configurations.

Priced at Rs 25.26 lakh, ex-showroom, the Anniversary Edition slots between the Longitude (O) and Limited (O) trims. The model can be booked on the company’s official website as well as its dealership network across the country.
