MG Motor India has launched the new 2025 MG Astor in the Indian market with prices starting from Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2025 model gets new variants, features, and added safety and the mid-spec Shine variant now priced under Rs 12.5 lakh features a panoramic sunroof making it one of the most affordable compact SUVs with this feature. Interested customers can book the 2025 Astor online or by visiting their nearest dealership, deliveries are expected to begin soon.

The 2025 Astor is offered in five variants - Sprint priced at Rs 9.99 lakh, Shine priced at Rs 12.47 lakh, Select priced at Rs 13.81 lakh, Sharp Pro priced at Rs 15.2 lakh and top-spec Savvy Pro at 17.45 lakh (Ivory) and 17.55 lakh (Sangaria Red). The Shine variant now comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof and a 6-speaker sound system. Meanwhile, the Select variant of the Astor now features 6 airbags and leatherette seat upholstery.


Other features include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a 6-way power-adjustable driver seat, automatic climate control and infotainment now gets an updated i-SMART 2.0 with new User Interface. It also gets connected car tech with over 80+ connected features, Jio voice recognition, digital key and more.


Safety-wise, it gets 6 airbags, electronic stability control, hill ascent and descent control, heated ORVMs, a 360-degree camera, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) featuring adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keeping/departure assist.

Mechanically, the Astor remains the same and continues to be offered with two engine options - a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 110 PS of power and 144 Nm torque and comes paired with a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT auto. Another engine is the 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine with 140 PS of power / 220 Nm torque paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
