Cricketer Hardik Pandya gifts Rs 4 Crore luxury SUV to his son: Details
Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya has gifted his son a Land Rover Defender luxury SUV. Although the exact Defender variant has not been confirmed, the SUV has been finished in Santorini Black Metallic, one of the more popular colour options in the lineup. Images of the SUV were shared on the official Instagram page of Land Rover Mumbai, confirming the delivery. An image board was also placed alongside the SUV, which carried the message, “From Papa to Agastya,” underscoring that the Defender was presented as a personal gift from Hardik Pandya to his son.
Images of the SUV were shared on the official Instagram page of Land Rover Mumbai with a caption saying Presented to Agastya Pandya and Ms Stankovic. The Land Rover Defender remains a popular choice among film actors, politicians and cricketers, with its blend of road presence, off-road capability and premium appeal making it a frequent addition to high-profile garages. Cricketers who own the Defender include KL Rahul, MS Dhoni, Rishab Pant, Rinku Singh and more.
The Defender is available in three main variants - Defender 90, 110, and 130. Engine options across variants include a 2.0-litre turbo petrol, 3.0-litre, six-cylinder turbo petrol and diesel, 5.0-litre supercharged V8 and a 4.4-litre V8. The Defender comes equipped with a permanent four-wheel-drive system, along with a locking centre differential and an active rear-locking differential. It also features Land Rover’s Terrain Response system, which uses electronic assistance tailored to different driving conditions.
Features include an 11.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital driver’s display, HUD display, 14-way powered, heated and cooled front seats with memory function, ambient lighting, 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, multi-zone climate control, Meridian sound system, air suspension and more. Safety features include six airbags, ABS, traction control, driver attention monitoring, blind spot assist and parking sensors at both ends. Buyers can further customise the Defender through a range of optional features and accessory packs.
