Citroen C3, Aircross, Basalt prices hiked: Here are the new prices
Citroen India has hiked the prices of the Citroen C3, Aircross and Basalt coupe SUV. The Basalt has become costlier by Rs 20,000, the Aircross too sees an increase of up to Rs 20,000 and the C3 is priced higher by up to Rs 15,000. The company has not issued an official statement on the price revision, with the updated prices now reflected on the brand’s India website. Apart from these price revisions, the models remain unchanged.The price of the Citroen C3 now ranges from Rs 4.95 lakh to Rs 9.45 lakh (ex-showroom). The C3 is available in Live, Live (O), Feel, Feel (O) and Shine trim levels. The prices of all variants of the C3 trims have gone up by Rs 15,000 and the prices of the Live (O) manual version are unchanged.
Talking about the Basalt, the prices now range between Rs 8.15 lakh and Rs 13.35 lakh (ex-showroom). It is offered in three variants - You, Plus and Max - and all versions have received a uniform price hike of Rs 20,000. The Aircross SUV too is offered in three variants - You, Plus and Max. The company has raised prices for the Aircross by Rs 20,000 across all variants. In line with the Basalt SUV-coupé that shares the same powertrain options. The prices of five-seat Max Turbo variants remain unchanged. The Citroen Aircross is now priced between Rs 8.49 lakh and Rs 13.94 lakh (ex-showroom).
Talking about the powertrain, all three cars get the same set of engine and gearbox options. A 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated unit that produces 82hp and 115Nm and comes paired with a 5-speed manual. The other engine is the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine which puts out 110 bhp of power and 190 Nm of torque and comes paired with a 6-speed manual or a torque converter automatic.
